Rated as one of Forbes Magazine’s 100 Most Powerful Women in 2009, Stacey Snider, JD, who will be speaking at the upcoming Atlantic Meets the Pacific Conference in La Jolla, CA (October 7-9, 2012), is a UCLA-trained lawyer who climbed the ranks from a mailroom employee to one of the highest-ranking executives in Hollywood.
Since 2006, Snider has worked alongside Steven Spielberg at DreamWorks Studios, where she is a partner and serves as the company’s co-chairman and CEO. Under Snider’s tenure at DreamWorks, the studio has released several highly acclaimed films including the Academy Award-nominated pictures, “The Help,” “Flags of Our Fathers” and “Letters from Iwo Jima.”
Snider’s understanding of the inner workings of business strategy, marketing, financial planning, creative film development and production, have contributed to the success of DreamWorks and other studios where she has worked over the years.
